Danbi Makiba's daughter.  She is an ordinary girl who helps out in Shirakaba farm.  Later in the Grendizer series she will know Daisuke Umon's true identity.  She will have a strong feeling for Duke Freed and will want to pursue a relationship with him, however, Duke does not show interest in establishing a bond with her.  Duke Freed's mind is always occupied with the Vegan threat, and he did not have much time for himself.

Hikaru is an average fighter, she tends to lose concentration and cause problems.  Grendizer's left arm was torn off by "King Gori" because of her carelessness.  She will realize near the end of the series that Duke Freed had another love in his life that he wanted to marry; that being Robina, Great Vega's daughter, shortly before Vega attacked Freed.
