General Gandal is higher in command than Commander Blacki and is the one that gives him instructions.  He is the next highest after Vega Daio.  General Gandal will humiliate Commander Blacki many times for his repeated failures, and will send others to try to get the job done.

This General is very short-tempered, but he will sometimes analyze a step before taking it.  He will have some problems later when General Zuril shows up.  General Gandal will try to undermine General Zuril and try to get more credit.

General Gandal shares the same body with Lady Gandal.  This is the same idea as Baron Ashler in Mazinger Z.  General Gandal will himself kill Lady Gandal (and himself ultimately) when she tries to kill Vega Daio.  General Gandal in his flagship will face Grendizer one-on-one.
