The commander in charge of the assaults on Earth at the beginning of the Grendizer series. Out of all of the Vegan commanders, he probably has one of the deepest rivalries with Duke Freed. Commander Blacki hates anyone who tries to get in his way or take over his authority. |

| Commander Blacki will be the only Vegan commander to actually enter the Space Science Centre and face Dr. Umon and others. He is very short-tempered, but will under-estimate Grendizer and fail many times before he actually faces Grendizer face-to-face in his flagship the "Mother Burn". The moon's reflection turns red when the "Mother Burn" approaches the Earth as a result of its colour. |
